"I finally married the man that I've been in love with since I was 15,” our featured bride, Madeleine, told us. "We were high school sweethearts — we joked about eloping when we were 18 and running away together, and I’m so glad we didn’t, because our wedding day was everything that I could have dreamed of.

"It was a beautiful warm day in Southern California. The ivy vines covered the Spanish walls, a pleasant breeze swept through the garden, and the happily bubbling fountain filled the space as John Legend played in the background. After the ceremony, we snuck away for sunset photos — just us, running through the trail, out of breath and laughing until our stomachs hurt.

"The night slowly faded after hours of dancing and hours of singing our hearts out to Usher, leading to a traditional sparkler exit that marked the beginning of the rest of our lives.”
